Hockey Officiating

  • Began officiating Hockey at age 12

  • Officiated his first High School game while still in Junior High School

  • 1994  -  Officiated at the “AAA”  Bantam nationals

  • 1997  -  Selected most promising official NBHOA

  • 1997  -  Worked the Atlantic University All-Star game

  • 1998  -  Worked the Atlantic University Championship Finals

  • 1997-98 -  Officiated in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

  • 1998  -  Turned Professional and became a linesman for the East Coast Hockey League , the Central Hockey and the United States Hockey League

  • 1999  -  Transitioned to a Referee

  • 1999 till Present - Officiated in over 900 regular season games and over 200 playoff games. Has amassed many many memorable ECHL highlights including: Colonial Cup Final, President Cup Final, 8 Conference Finals, and the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game

  • 2009-2013 Selected to Referee in Calder Cup Playoffs (AHL)

  • 2013  -  Chosen as the recipient of the Ryan Birmingham Memorial Award for his Officiating contribution to the ECHL
