In only two short seasons, a coach with a passion for Rugby was able to mold 8 exceptional athletes from Minto High into Provincial representatives at the 1977 Canadian Under 19 Rugby Championship in Montreal and at the 1978 Canadian Junior Rugby Championship in Regina.

These players not only believed in their coach but also utilized discipline, dedication, and a strong will to be chosen to the New Brunswick teams. They not only made this Village proud,

but also earned recognition and respect for themselves.
