BOB COAKLEY 

Wheelchair Athletics 

• 1974 - Participated in the Jeux N.B. Games

• 1978 - Graduated from STU and was presented the Gold "T" Award in recognition of his abilities as a Wheelchair Athlete

• 1982 - Competed for Team Canada at the Pan American Wheelchair Games , winning Gold,  Silver  and Bronze Medals for Swimming

•  1983 - Became certified as a Basic Scuba Diver

• 1984 - Selected for the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball All-Star Team

• 1974 - 1996  - Competed at the Canadian Wheelchair Championships , winning 19 Medals ( 7 Gold, 5 Silver , 7 Bronze ) in Swimming , Slalom , Track and Field ,     Basketball, and Volleyball 2000 - Participated in the 14 K Confederation Bridge Race

• 2003 - Participated in the 10 K Fredericton Marathon
