For over 50 years the Calabrese Family has been recognized for their Bowling prowess.

From Jack and Joyce to their two sons, John and Mike along with their wives, Cathy and

Beverley, they dominated the Newcastle Creek bowling scene. As well as being dominant

bowlers, the family operated the lanes , organized leagues , and hosted tournaments .

The Calabrese Family accomplishments include:

 Numerous Newcastle Creek Men's League Championships 

Numerous Newcastle Creek Lady's League Championships 

New Brunswick Lady's Provincial “A” and “B” Championships

 Annual participation at the Maritime Senior Bowling Championships

 Participation in the Men's World Championship

1972 - Record setting performances by Cathy with a 162 single and a 418 triple.

1976 - Cathy broke her own singles record with a 165
