·         Managed Grand Lake Predators Senior Hockey Team for 5 years

·         President / Manager Grand Lake Junior Moose Hockey Team for 10 years

·         Councillor in charge of Recreation for the majority of the 18 years he served on the Minto Village Council

·         Over the past 40 years volunteered , unselfishly , to fund-raise for various athletic teams  and other special benefits

·         Public Address Announcer at the Minto Centennial Arena for over 40 years
