• Defensive Lineman for the UNB Red Bombers Football Team 1961, 62, 63

• Two-time winner of the Grand Lake Swimming Marathon 1965, 66

• Member of "Ye Olde Minto Miners" Hockey Team - Maritime Champions 1980

• As a Committee member, was instrumental in making the construction of the Minto Centennial Arena a reality - 1967
