• Late 1950's   - Personally funded the baseball equipment for the newly – formed Minto Youth Baseball Organization.

• Generously contributed to the organization of 5 different age groups : Little League Farm Teams , Little League, Bantam ,Midget ,and  Juvenile

• Arranged for the land to be cleared behind Holy Rosary Hall enabling 3 different sized ball fields to be constructed.
